In the early thirties, when I was last in Rosehearty, my uncle William Tytler operated the bake shop in town, his wife was Kate. I'd love to hear from or about any Tytlers still in or around the area. This is the first time that I have 'surfed the net' and found Rosehearty!!!!

Back in 1973 I spent three months in Fraserburgh, as a student of cultural anthropology doing fieldwork for my MA degree. During that stay I visited Rosehearty several times and I liked the town very much. For several reasons, however, I never came back to Scotland until 1996. During my 1996 trip I fell in love again with your country. I plan to visit Scotland again early in 1998 and I hope to re-visit Fraserburgh and it's surrounding area. Of course I expect to visit Rosehearty as well. In the meantim

I was very happy to find that Rosehearty had a web site.  I have just started doing some geneological research into my father's line.  He (George Gordon) was born in Rosehearty in July of 1912.  His father (also George) was born in Rosehearty in 1890.  They came to Canada around 1920.  I felt a bit like I was coming home when I saw some of the pictures of places that my dad had described to me.  I'll be visiting your site again!

Having visited your lovely town last January, I was thrilled when Linda Thomson told me in her latest e-mail about your web-site! Now, I can share so much of what I experienced with my friends. Made many lasting friendships while in Rosehearty and am looking forward to visiting again soon. One note..please correct the spelling of Fredericksburg, VA on your pages. Thanks! And I'll be back often to see what's going on. A special hello to Andrew Watt :)

I am VERY impressed! What a wonderful idea. Could you design my web-page? We have a cottage in the Fraserburgh area and I read about your site in the Fraserburgh Herald. What an excellent idea.... Brent
